This extensive project saw Baldwin Aquatic create 22 rooftop pools, as well as a spa pool and a landscape water feature.

Baldwin Aquatic, in conjunction with leading North Queensland construction builders Matrix, was engaged to build the swimming pools at Coconut Grove – a prestigious Juniper project in Port Douglas. The project involved the construction of 22 rooftop pool and spa combos, a 20m lap pool and a landscape water feature. Constructed over 5 levels, the job presented potential logistical and access challenges, but the co-operative team nature of this project allowed for the completion of the pools well within deadlines.

With the pools constructed over habitable areas and retail tenancies, the waterproofing of the pool structures was a critical element of the construction process. The pools were finished with exfoliated granite coping tiles, mosaic tileband and a cool blue pebble interior, perfectly suited to the tropical environment.
