This 25m x 20m heated lap pool, plus a hydrotherapy/learn-to-swim pool, was completed by Baldwin Aquatic in September 2008. A joint project involving the council and state government, the centre featured a complex set of disabled ramps that separated two different bodies of water, heated to different temperatures. This enabled the two pools to give the impression of one body of water. The pools also boasted custom-made, stainless-steel ladders and handrails, with the interiors finished in 1-2mm quartz pebble.
